My Fellow Alumni,

Greetings from your new Executive,

I

am extremely humbled and it is indeed a great honor to be elected as the President of the Bishops’ High School Alumni Association New York Tri State Chapter Inc. I thank everyone who had the confidence in me and who encouraged me to accept this office. To the other members of the executive committee, thank you for demonstrating your willingness to serve with me, and congratulations on your appointments. I look forward to your continued support and guidance for the next two years.

As our constitution and bylaws state, our chapter was formed to serve as a forum for the exchange of ideas which reflect the common interests of its members; to uphold the principles and traditions of our Alma Mater; to provide aid to the school; and to serve as a vehicle for providing liaison between its members and other alumni around the world, similarly dedicated to supporting the traditions of BHS in carrying out its educational and intellectual goals.

It is my hope that we can achieve these goals by not only encouraging current members to continue attending our meetings, but also to inspire those who have stopped participating to return and be actively involved in the activities of our chapter. It is my belief that everyone has an idea which we can use to improve our chapter’s performance.

I promise commitment and hard work, and I am dedicated to continue the momentum to push our chapter forward in these difficult times.
